Free Tutorials
I have created some tutorials for my clients. These tutorials cover a wide range of subjects, and will continue to grow. Please email me if you want to know more about my services. I will be posting these tutorials as I have time. Keep in mind, if you're on a dial-up connection the page might be slow to load. I have tested the load on 58k dial up scenario, and the page loads in 10 seconds. Another important feature of these tutorials are the controls embedded at the bottom of the tutorial. Please email me if you want to know more about my tutorials.
NoScript
The NoScript Firefox extension provides extra protection for Firefox, Flock, Seamonkey and others mozilla-based browsers: this free, open source add-on allows JavaScript and Java execution only for trusted domains of your choice (e.g. your home-banking web site). NoScript optionally blocks Flash and other potentially exploitable plugins too, and provides the most powerful Anti-XSS protection available in a browser. View the tutorial-> here.
Parasites
Parasites are programs running on your system that you don't need, don't want, and probably don't even know you have. Normally, these are intentional parts of larger applications. I use the term parasite because they use memory, CPU time, and other resources which reduce the performance of your machine. View the tutorial-> here.
Use Clear Fonts, Resize Text and Icons
With the advent of digital flat panel monitors along with the falling prices of notebook computer screens, Windows XP provides us with a new feature known as Clear Type font smoothing. I also cover icon resizing and font resizing. View the tutorial-> here.
CCleaner
CCleaner is a freeware system optimization and privacy tool. It removes unused files from your system – allowing Windows to run faster and freeing up valuable hard disk space. It also cleans traces of your online activities such as your Internet history. But the best part is that it's fast (normally taking less than a second to run) and contains NO Spyware or Adware!
